Bakugou Eye Makeup: Tutorial In Just 4 Steps

Bakugou eye makeup is a relatively new trend that has become popular because of My Hero Academia’s anime.

The character Bakugou Katsuki wears this type of eye makeup, which is why it’s called “Bakugou” makeup. This article will teach you how to do bakugou makeup like the pros!

There are many tutorials for this look on Youtube and Instagram; however, not all are created equal. I’m going to share with you my favorite tutorial for this look so you can achieve Bakugou’s intense eyes!

Bakugou Eye Makeup Tutorial:

The makeup is quite simple, but you need to follow it carefully if you want the same result.

I will try not to confuse you with the steps, so let’s get started!

What will you need?

  • Eyeshadow brush
  • A matte light cream color or a shimmery white eyeshadow for highlighting your brow bone.
  • A black/dark brown eyeshadow to line your lower lashline with.
  • A grey, blue, purple, or pink eyeshadow for your eyelids.
  • Volumizing mascara.

Step 1: Highlight your eyes.

Use a light cream color or a shimmery white eyeshadow to highlight the brow bone as well as the inner corner of your eye. Let’s take a look at this step closely! Suppose you want the Bakugou makeup tutorial to have that popping effect.

In that case, I suggest using a light cream color eyeshadow as your base and then using a shimmery white eyeshadow on top. This will help open up your eyes and make them look brighter.

Step 2: Apply the dark eye shadow.

Now it’s time to start creating the Bakugou look. Apply a dark, shimmery shade of shadow on your eyelids with a brush. I personally love to use a grey or blue color that has some type of iridescence because it really makes the look pop!

Step 3: Use a darker color to line your lower lash line.

You’re almost done with the eye makeup step- now it’s time to use a darker color to line your lower lash line. This will help define your eyes and give them more of an intense look.

I like to use a black or dark brown color for this step.

Step 4: Apply mascara.

Finish up the look by applying your favorite mascara. I like to use a volumizing mascara to really make my eyes pop. And that’s it! You now have the perfect Bakugou eye makeup look. Good luck and have fun!

How to apply eye primer?

Eye primer is a cosmetic product that’s applied before applying eye shadow to help smooth out your eyelids, keep your eyeshadow on longer, and create a more vibrant finish.

I suggest you use an eyeshadow base for this step if you have oily skin because it will help to prevent creasing throughout the day.

You can also use a white eyeshadow for this step to help brighten up your eye makeup.

How do you achieve Bakugou’s hair?

I have seen many people attempt this look, but not everyone is able to achieve the same desired effect.

The key to achieving this hairstyle is using a stronghold of hairspray!

I suggest using a dark brown eyeshadow for this step to help give you that “unrefined” look. Also, try playing around with your part because I have seen people do it in the middle and on the side, but I think doing it on the side is more effective.

How long does it take?

This look will take about 15-20 minutes to complete, but it is well worth it!

I hope you enjoyed this Bakugou eye makeup tutorial! If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment below, and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks for reading!
