Trisha Yearwood Broccoli Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 8-10 cups of broccoli cut into small florets
  • 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 egg white (optional for a creamier dressing)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
  • 2 cups of lettuce

Directions:

washed and chopped (any leafy green works) 2 medium tomatoes, chopped fresh tomatoes work great too, cut into small cubes

Toss the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. (I usually end up adding a little more salt to my salad just so it is not too bland, but you can add all the seasonings that you like. I like being able to taste the seasonings in each bite.)

Tips

  • I don’t recommend adding much salt to this salad as it is already quite salty.
  • I do recommend using fresh tomatoes for the best flavor, but canned tomatoes work fine.

Serve and Enjoy!
